OnePlus, known for its high-quality smartphones at revolutionary prices is back again! The company which is also known for launching only one flagship android smartphone in a year is surprisingly launching its 2nd flagship this year. OnePlus 3 was launched in June this year and now the company has launched OnePlus 3T, the improved version of OnePlus 3.
In our OnePlus 3 review, we stated that OnePlus 3 is a great and well-optimized smartphone but it lacks some spark which OnePlus phones have. When a OnePlus smartphone is launched in the market, the buzz it creates and the excitement among the OnePlus fans was missing. The headlining features of this phone, however, were its 6 GB LPDDR4 RAM and Dash Charging. We also stated that “OnePlus 3 may not be the Best Phone available in the market but it is surely going to give its competitors a tough fight.” And soon after OnePlus 3 launch, Google Pixel was launched with amazing specs and with the built-in Google Assistant.
To give Google Pixel a tougher competition, OnePlus has done minor improvements in the OnePlus 3 and has made the smartphone more powerful. OnePlus 3T is priced at $439 (or ₹29,999) for the 64GB variant and $479 (or ₹ 34,999) for the 128GB model. With Snapdragon 821 (2.35 GHz) processor, 6GB RAM, Dash Charging, 16 MP front and 16 MP rear camera, the OnePlus 3T at this price is worth every penny.
What’s new?
Although, not much has changed if you compare the OnePlus 3T with OnePlus 3. The design of OnePlus 3T is also same as that of OnePlus 3 but OnePlus 3T is available in all new colors, i.e. Gunmetal and Soft Gold. Also, OnePlus 3T is available in 2 storage variants – 64GB and 128GB. The battery of OnePlus 3T is 3400 mAh whereas battery in OnePlus 3 was 3000 mAh. OnePlus 3T has launched with an Optic AMOLED which is same as the one in OnePlus 3. Both screens are 5.5-inches, 1080p Full HD (1920 x 1080 pixels) with 401 ppi and has Gorilla Glass 4.
The front camera of OnePlus 3 is 8MP, whereas, in OnePlus 3T, the front camera is 16MP. The rear camera of OnePlus 3 has also been improved in OnePlus 3T. The performance of OnePlus 3T is also better as it has the all new Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 processor. The headlining features of OnePlus 3T are still the Dash Charging and its 6GB RAM.
