How To Register On Websites Without Giving Your Email ID

Staying anonymous while surfing the web or having a spam-free email id is not so easy these days. Every other website wants your email id. Whether you want to download a software, watch a video, play a game, or use any kind of service, you are asked to sign up. And, the demand doesn’t end here. You are asked to verify your email address, hence, you can not provide them a random email id. Now, if you want to play a poker game online or use a dating site or want to download a software, the last thing you would want is to give out your real email address. But, since you’re not allowed to use these services without giving your email address, you are left with only two choices. Either you give them your email id and get ready for spam surprise or don’t use their service at all. Now, both these choices are unwanted. Well, there’s one more choice, i.e. use their services without providing them your real email address. Only a few people are aware of this disposable email address trick. This trick can really save your inbox from getting spammed.

To use web services without giving your real email id, follow any one of these two tricks:

1. Use already registered accounts

You can access and share already registered accounts for websites that require you to register in order to view content. These accounts can be found on BugMeNot. BugMeNot provides you account details you need to access websites that require registrations. BugMeNot is a free website. All you have to do is enter the website you want to access and BugMeNot will provide you the account details. If the website you want to access is not found on BugMeNot, you can follow the second trick.

2. Register with temporary/disposable email address

You can use services like Mailinator, Guerrilla Mail, Jetable, Melt Mail and much more. These services provide you with a temporary/disposable email address. Some services like mailinator, guerilla mail gives you instant access to the inbox of the disposable email address you’ve chosen. While some services (such as Melt Mail) require your real email address and they forward all the messages received on your disposable email address to your real email address till one hour or one week. After one hour or week (as per your choice), the forwarder gets deactivated and you’ll no longer receive emails from that web service.
